I mean it! In kids classes, they practice a chant of the month. キッズのレッスンでは毎月違うチャンツを練習します Last month, upper grade class worked on this chant called "Please please". 先月高学年クラスでやったのが「おねがい、おねがい」というチャンツでした ・○○ of the months　今月の○○ ・work on　～に取り組む Can you stop it?　やめてくれない？ Please stop it.　お願いだからやめて Stop it.　ねえ、やめてよ I mean it!　まじで！ Can you wait for me?　待ってくれない？ Please wait for me.　お願いだから待って Wait for me.　待ってよ I mean it!　まじで！ Can you help me?　手伝ってもらえない？ Please help me?　お願いだから手伝って Help me.　手伝ってってば I mean it!　本気で言ってるの！ The kids really enjoyed this chant  and they started to use these phrases during the class. 楽しんで練習してくれてレッスン中にも使ってくれます If they don't want to work on the task I suggest,  they go "Can you stop it? I mean it!" やりたくないタスクがあると”Can you stop it? I mean it!"と 早速使ってくれてました！ So I go "That's it! You've got it!"  but it doesn't mean they can pass the task. なので私は「そうそう！ものにしたね！」って。 でもタスクはしっかりやってもらいました😛 ・○○ go　○○は言う （sayと同じように言う、言ったという表現にgoがよく使われます）

I'm in!  Two weeks ago I watched a movie called ”Chiadan”  which has Suzu Hirose and Ayami Nakajo in it. 2週間ほど前、広瀬すずと中条あやみがでている「チアダン」って映画を見ました It is not a kind of movie that I usually watch  but I decided to watch it just because my daughter wanted to. この手の映画、自分から進んで見ることないんですが、 娘が見たいと言ったので一緒に見ることにしました。 And it turned out to be a lot of fun! 結果、すごくおもしろかったです😍 It was way better than what I expected. 思っていたよりも全然いい映画でした。 ○○called... ～という○○ just because　単に～という理由で way better than　～よりもずっと、はるかに One of the songs used in the movie was ”Good time” of The owl city. そしてその中で使われていた曲が、 私と娘がよく聞いているThe owl cityのGood timeという曲でした She got excited to hear the song she knows,  and ever since she wants to listen to the song whenever she plays music. 知ってる曲がかかったので娘はノリノリになって、それ以来こればっかり聞いてます💜 What is so surprising is that she has already picked up the lyrics. 歌えるようになってるからびっくり get excited　喜ぶ（get＋形容詞でその状態になる⇔be＋形容詞はその状態が続いている） ever since それ以来 whenever　○○の時はいつでも what is surprising is that　驚くべきこととは～であること （what：関係副

  I am sorry to hear that Eric Curl passed away at the age of 91. I love his pictures and how different colors are used in his books. I actually read his books not only to the kids but also to my adult students just because I believe they would enjoy the beautiful pictures. 絵本作家のエリックカールさんが91歳で亡くなったと知りました。 私は彼の絵、色使いがとても好きです。 子供のクラスだけでなく、大人のクラスでも彼の本を読むことがあります。単に絵がきれいなので大人も楽しめるのではないかと思うからです。 at the age of ～歳で just because 単に～という理由で The kids love his picture books and some of the phrases used in his books are easy for them to say so they have been quite helpful in my lessons.  When my eldest daughter was seven years old, she actually memorized every single word in Brown bear and able to recite the entire book.
