I am sorry to hear that Eric Curl passed away at the age of 91.

I love his pictures and how different colors are used in his books.

I actually read his books not only to the kids but also to my adult students just because I believe they would enjoy the beautiful pictures.

絵本作家のエリックカールさんが91歳で亡くなったと知りました。

私は彼の絵、色使いがとても好きです。

子供のクラスだけでなく、大人のクラスでも彼の本を読むことがあります。単に絵がきれいなので大人も楽しめるのではないかと思うからです。

The kids love his picture books and some of the phrases used in his books are easy for them to say so they have been quite helpful in my lessons. 

When my eldest daughter was seven years old, she actually memorized every single word in Brown bear and able to recite the entire book. I believe that she has forgot it though.

子供たちはエリックの本が大好きです。覚えやすいフレーズも多くてレッスンでは重宝しています。今はもう忘れちゃったと思いますが。

うちの長女は7歳の時ブラウンベアを暗記して読むようになっていました。もう忘れちゃったと思いますが！

His great works would be passed down from generation to generation.

I am so grateful to his great works. May he rest in peace.

彼の作品はこれからも後世に伝えられていくことでしょう。

エリックの偉大な功績に感謝し、彼が安らかに眠れますように。

pass downの他に、hand down, pass on も誰かに語り継ぐ、受け継ぐという意味で用いられます。

The project costs 20 billion dollars and though the bulk of the money is entails, some of it will come from the government which is throwing 52 billion dollars in subsidies of the semiconductor industry.   It’s part of the flood of money the government is directing towards industry investment in a plan to outrun China and retain economic superiority in the 21 st century. But it will take 7000 construction workers to build the plant and three thousand operators. The vast expenses of parking lot areas in places like Walmart or within the housing projects illustrates its importance. But there is a new issue in parking landscape with two possible solutions. The dilemma: how can city officials implement varying parking charges for different cars to increase revenue while maintaining fairness for car owners? Solution one: What about charging more for cars that emit more pollutants ? It seems sensible considering global focus on climate change. Solution two: What about if we charge larger, heavier vehicles more because they consume more parking space? Both these ideas are being tested worldwide. In the UK, for example, driving a fossil fuel power dirty car in cities like London or Dublin means you'll be paying through the nose .
