Girl in The Mirror: Bebe Rexha 2019公開の『UglyDolls』という映画の主題歌みたいです。 12歳の長女がはまってリピートしまくっているのです。なぜ今頃この曲にはまっているのかはちょっと謎ですが、あれだけ連続再生されたらこっちも覚えちゃいました。 It seems like this is the theme tune of the movie "Ugly Dolls" released in 2019, which I had no idea about until now! My eldest daughter is so into this song and she keeps on playing it. I'm not too sure why she picked up this after three years but I can kinda sing it thanks to her. 最近長女が私の英語力を試してくるんです😝 洋楽を聞くのが好きな彼女、「お母さん、この歌詞の意味なんだと思う？」って。私がなんとなく日本語にして答えると 「おーっ！」と言って去っていきます😂 英会話講師である母が、どの程度英語を理解できるのか確認したい様子。 笑えます！ Lately she sometimes tests my English. As she likes listening to English songs, she would come to me and goes "Mom, do you know what the lyrics mean?". I just say the meaning in Japanese then she is like "Wow! You know!".  She is curious about how much English her mother can understand.  I find it very funny. 歌詞の内容は思春期のまさに娘世代の心の葛藤を歌っています。 娘がどの程度歌詞を理解して聞いているのかは謎ですが 彼女の年齢から洋楽で自然な英語に触れる習慣があるのはうらやましいです。
