Elon wants to ensure "free speech"




Elon Musk is probably one of the most successful entrepreneur in the last few decades. And as far as I'm concerned, he has been so influential in many different areas.

Now his interest is buying Twitter. 
The interview at TED talk blew my mind.
I mean I didn't know much about him and wasn't so interested in him.
But I've found out that he is really one and only, which is 
I would like to share some quotes.
その彼が今、Twitter買収に興味を示しています。
テッドトークでのインタビューを聞いて、ハッとしました。
今まで彼のことをあまり知らなかったし、特に興味はなかったのですが
彼の考え方や生き様、独特のセンスがとても面白いと思ったので、彼の発言をいくつかシェアしていきたいと思います。


"If in doubt, let the speech, let it exist. If it's a gray area, I'd say let the tweet exist. But obviously in a case where there is perhaps a lot of controversy that you don't want to promote that tweet, I'm not saying I've already answered here."

判断が難しい場合は削除しない。グレーな内容のツイートについては、私ならそのまま残します。でも明らかに、拡散させたくない議論を呼ぶような内容の場合もあることを考えれば、これが結論だと言うつもりはありません。

If in doubt (=If it is in doubt)
⇒もしそれが疑われているなら

let it exist（使役動詞）～に○○させてあげる
⇒それに存在させてあげる＝残しておく

I'd say (仮定法）
I will say「私は言うだろう」
⇒I would say　私だったら言うだろう、考えるだろう＝私はこう思う

obviously　明らかに

in a case where（関係副詞）～がある場合

I'm not saying「～と言っているわけではない」

I've already answered（現在完了）
⇒すでに答えてしまった＝結論を出した
