Nomophobia 




Do you have any phobia???

Mine is definitely a Tropophobia!!! My fear is repetitive patterns and it has been getting worse as I get older. In fact, I can't look at some flowers when they present a lot of small seeds or some sort of holes in the middle!!! So my family sometimes tease me saying "Here, you like something like this, don't you?" and shows me this disgusting pattern. Not fair. 

These days I often hear "Nomophobia".  I'd say my daughters have this.

So now my question is how long can you be away from your phone? Do you get anxiety if you don't have your phone with you? What if you've left your phone at home and you know that you can't get back until your shift ends in the evening???

Tell me about your phobia or fear if there is any. And let's talk about your experience of "Being with no phone".

うれしい I am glad. 中学の英語の授業で学ぶ「うれしい」がこのglad。日常会話でも普通に使います。ある事実に対して「うれしい」と。ただこの後紹介する表現に比べると一番淡々としてる印象。 I'm glad that you made it. できてよかったね I'm glad to have you here. あなたが来てくれてうれしい I'm happy. gladよりも感情的でうれしさが深い印象。うれしい気持ちが物事ではなく、相手に向かっている。それでも他の表現に比べると落ち着いた平坦な感情。 I'm happy for you. Congrats for promotion. 昇進おめでとう。私もうれしい。 He's happy that you like your new position. あなたが新しい仕事気に入ってくれて彼も喜んでいます。 I'm pleased. 過去分詞の表現。"please someone"で誰かを喜ばせる。つまり、何かによってだれかによって自分が「喜ばされた」という表現。これは、あることがきっかけで瞬間的にうれしくなる感じです。 I'm pleased to see you again. またお目にかかれてうれしいです I'm flattered. flatterという動詞はお世辞を言う、過度に褒めるという意味。なので人から褒められたり、十分すぎる評価をもらったときなど謙遜の気持ちを込めてI'm flatteredと使います。 A: You did really well today.
